Two New Junior Faculty Members Start September 2007

EEE welcomes two new junior faculty members beginning in September 2007.
Dr. Alyssa Park joins us from The Ohio State University, where she has been a post-doctoral researcher since 2005. Her research interest is in the field of sustainable energy, with specific expertise in carbon sequestration, clean fossil energy conversion, and alternative energy sources. Dr. Park received her PhD in 2005 from The Ohio State University, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
Dr. Nikhil Krishnan joins us from Applied Materials, Inc., where he has worked as an environmental systems researcher/engineer since 2005. His research interest is in the field of industrial ecology, reducing the environmental impacts of industrial activity in various sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, electricity generation and solid waste management. Dr. Krishnan received his PhD in 2003 from the University of California at Berkeley, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
